About me

I am a researcher at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the Karolinska Institutet and member of the Mataix-Cols research group, in tight collaboration with the Serlachius research group. I am also the head of the Clinical Research Unit at the local child and adolescent mental health service in Stockholm.

If you are interested in my reserach, you can find an up-to-date list of my publications on this page with links to the original articles, many of them are open access.

My research interests revolve around the following topics:

  • e-health and innovative, internet-delivered treatments for youth with mental health problems (for example this study)
  • health economics of psychiatric interventions (cost-effectiveness analyses and cost-of-illness studies, e.g. this one)
  • prediction of treatment outcome using advanced statistical models such as AI and machine learning, in order to know what will work for which patients (e.g. this study)

Overall, my ambitions aim at finding effective and accessible interventions for young people with mental health problems.
