I am a psychologist, PhD and researcher at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the Karolinska Institutet. As a researcher I am affiliated to the very talented people at the Mataix-Cols research group. I also work closely with the brilliant minds at the Serlachius research group. As the head of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Research Center (CAP Research Center) in region Stockholm I am dedicated to co-create a work environment that stimulates research and development of new, accessible and effective methods for improved childhood mental health.

My research revolves around the following topics:
- e-health and innovative digital psychology (for example this study)
- development and implementation of digital psychology as well as patient adherence (also known as “stickiness” in the tech world)
- health economics of psychiatric interventions (cost-effectiveness analyses and cost-of-illness studies, e.g. this one)
- prediction of treatment outcome using advanced statistical models such as AI and machine learning, in order to know what will work for which patients (e.g. this study)
